​This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.alphagenstrategies.com (the “Site”). 

Personal information we collect 
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information. 

 

How do we use your personal information? 
We use the Order Information to:

- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. 
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. How long do we keep your information?

We will keep information you provide to us indefinitely, though you may request deletion of your information by contacting us.  We reserve the right to delete information when it is no longer needed for any of the uses discussed in this Policy.

If you would like to find out what information we have about you, or if you would like to correct or update any information, you may contact us using the information below.  We can ask you for information to verify your identity before we disclose or correct any information.  If we ask for verification, the information you provide to verify your identity will be used only for that purpose, and this information will be destroyed when the process is complete.

 

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us.  We follow industry standards to protect the personal information we collect and save.  Remember that nothing online is 100% secure.  While we use standard methods to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Policy applies only to information collected by this Site.  From time to time, this Site may link you to other sites (“Linked Sites”) that are not owned by us.  We do not control the collection or use of any information, including personal information, that occurs during your visit to the Linked Sites.  Further, we make no representations about the privacy policies or practices of the Linked Sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

We do not currently have the capability to recognize browser “Do Not Track” signals.  We adhere to the standards set forth in this privacy policy.

 

California Privacy Rights

Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, users who are California residents can request certain information about the sharing of their own personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the past year. The information which you have a right to receive includes the categories of personal information disclosed by us for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year and the names of the companies that received such information. You are entitled to receive a copy of this information in a standardised format, and the information will not be specific to you individually.

Pursuant to the California Consumer Protection Act, (“CCPA”), California residents have additional rights with respect to their personal information.  Please see our CCPA Notice for details.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. 
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfils contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Access, request, and receive any personal information we have collected in a portable manner;

Request that we delete your personal information (subject to certain exceptions); and

We will not deny you the use of our services or provide you a different level or quality of service for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
